01 / About
Product, partnerships and the compliance work in between.
I'm a Lead Product Manager based in Lisbon. I've used crypto since 2017 and worked in it since 2021, first in partnerships at Bitstamp, now leading product at Tesseract, a MiCA-licensed crypto yield provider.
I like building what other companies run on. At Tesseract I own the roadmaps for our institutional vaults and for Earn API, the B2B yield API that exchanges and fintechs build into their own products. Together with compliance, I set up the KYC, AML and Travel Rule flows behind them.
At Bitstamp I took partnerships from the first call to go-to-market, including the one behind Stripe's fiat-to-crypto onramp in the EU, and Mastercard as a deposit method.
Before crypto, I spent four years at Sofico turning client needs into software specs. That's where I found I like product work. Outside work, I build small data tools for questions I have as a DeFi user.

Tesseract · Lead Product Manager
ProductDedicated Client Vaults (DCV)- Co-designed the Dedicated Client Vault: per-client ERC-4626 smart-contract vaults, built on IPOR Fusion, giving institutional clients segregated, compliant on-chain yield across lending protocols through one vault interface.
- Took the vaults from idea to launch in under four months. Coordinated engineering, asset management, compliance, legal and commercial, and set up risk controls such as circuit breakers and position monitoring. Live with a range of clients, including 21Shares.
- Work with asset management on the vaults' yield strategies, and with engineering on their accounting: oracle and price-feed choices, and share-price / NAV integrity across nested vaults.
- Own the vault roadmap and presented it to the exec team and board members. Own the vault docs (integration guide and API reference), and I'm scoping the next API version, which lets clients manage their vaults from their own systems.
ProductEarn API- Own Earn API, the B2B yield API that exchanges and fintechs build into their own products. Their end users on it reach 70K+ a month.
- Took it over live and led the move from a manual daily settlement task to netted daily settlement. Daily reconciliation reports now feed our finance team's month-end close.
- Defined the flow for when our ledger and a partner's don't match.
- Took partners live, including Iconomi.
ProductEarn Direct- Owned Earn Direct, Tesseract's lending product. Redesigned onboarding so clients knew up front what was coming (documents, liveness check, source of funds), and wrote its copy.
- KYC completion rose about 20%, onboarding time for retail clients improved almost 30%, and relevant clientele grew 25%+ in the first six months.
- Integrated third-party custody with BitGo and Fireblocks, and managed Eigen Labs, the outside dev firm that helped with the Fireblocks integration.
ComplianceKYC, AML & Travel Rule- Set up the KYC, AML and Travel Rule flows for MiCA with Sumsub, TRM Labs and Notabene, chosen together with compliance during the licence work. They include sanctions and PEP screening, and enhanced due diligence for higher-risk clients.
- Compliance asked for a micro-transaction check on every client wallet. I proposed using the KYC risk rating each client already had to pick the check instead. About 80% of users now stay on the simplest one.
- Set up DAC8-compliant tax reporting for both the vaults and Earn.
Team & AI- Manage a junior Product Manager: I review their specs and PRDs and coach them on discovery and prioritisation.
- Set up Tesseract's company Claude account, connected it to internal tools, and trained about 15 people across seven departments. Some tasks went from a full day to under an hour.

JUN 2021 — JUN 2024
Bitstamp · Strategic Partnerships Lead
PartnershipsBitstamp-as-a-Service- Took partnerships from first conversation to go-to-market, including the one powering Stripe's fiat-to-crypto onramp in the EU (announced August 2024), with Bitstamp handling the conversion under Bitstamp-as-a-Service.
- Brought neobanks and wallet providers such as N26, Trust Wallet and MetaMask Institutional onto Bitstamp-as-a-Service. Rev-share partnerships lifted partner revenue by about 35%.
- Turned compliance's rules on KYC reliance into partner requirements: Bitstamp relied on licensed partners' KYC, and ran its own KYC inside the journey of unlicensed ones.
PartnershipsMastercard deposits- Ran the Mastercard partnership from inception to launch as a deposit method, so users could fund accounts without paying third-party onramp fees.
CryptoListings & liquidity- Sat on the Coin Listings Team, weighing client demand for new assets against EU rules on what counts as a security under MiFID.
- Managed liquidity relationships with market makers Wintermute, GSR and Keyrock for new trading pairs, and worked with market-data providers Kaiko and CCData. Revolut sourced crypto liquidity from Bitstamp during this time.
PartnershipsInstitutional & OTC- Built the OTC and Institutional VIP partnerships, and signed 18 new trading partners at industry conferences.
Team- Line-managed two partnership associates.

03 / Tools
Things I build.
I build these in my own time. Every idea has to pass two tests first: a hard interview of the idea, then a prototype on real data. Some don't survive, and the build log shows those too.
Where can I park stablecoins, and is the yield real? A trust filter that treats a high APY as a red flag as often as an opportunity.
A trust filter for tokenized real-world assets, classified by what actually backs each fund rather than by its marketing label.
What am I actually buying? A token's fundamentals on one page, each number rated by fixed, visible rules.
